How to find a meeting time across time zones

Time Zone Planner lines up working hours in two to eight places so you can see when everyone is available. Pick a date, set each place's hours, read the shared overlap, then convert one meeting time to every local time. Offsets come from your browser's own time zone data. Your plan stays in this tab and needs no account.

Compare time zones, find shared working hours and download a meeting invite.

What you can do

  • Search the browser's time zone list by city or zone name and see each place's UTC offset and abbreviation for the chosen date.
  • See 24-hour strips aligned to a reference place, with working hours and the shared overlap highlighted, including overnight hours.
  • Convert one meeting slot to every place's local time and day, then copy a text summary or download an .ics file.

How to use this app

  1. Search by city or time zone name to add two to eight places, and mark one as the reference place.
  2. Pick the date and set each place's working hours. An end time before the start counts as an overnight shift, and daylight saving is worked out for that date.
  3. Read the strips and shared hours, set a meeting start (in the reference place) and length, check the local times table, then copy the summary or download the .ics file.

Limits and privacy

  • Plans hold two to eight places, dates from 1970 to 2100 and meetings from 5 minutes to 24 hours. Each place has one daily working window.
  • There are no recurring events, attendees, reminders or holiday data. Offsets rely on your browser's time zone database, so an out-of-date browser may disagree with very recent rule changes. Reloading clears the plan.

Common questions

What does the .ics file contain?

One event with UTC start and end times, a title and the text summary. Your calendar shows it in your own time zone. It has no attendees or reminders.

Can it handle half-hour zones and clock changes?

Yes. Offsets such as UTC+5:45 and 30-minute daylight saving changes are shown, and the date you choose decides which offset applies.

Is Time Zone Planner free, and do I need an account?

Yes, it is free. Time Zone Planner runs in your browser with no account or payment details, and it never uses OnePassApps credits.
