These terms include our privacy notice, subscription terms, cancellation instructions, and refund policy. Effective 21 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-21.
1. Agreement and accounts
These terms are an agreement between you and OnePassApps. They cover your use of OnePassApps, including guest and browser-local tools you use without an account; the acceptable use, content rights, disclaimer and liability terms apply to that use. You accept these terms when you create an account. If you use OnePassApps for an organisation, you confirm that you can bind it. You must be able to form a legal contract, and users under 18 may not buy a plan.
Give accurate information, protect your sign-in details, and tell us promptly about unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless it results from our breach of duty. Mandatory consumer rights always apply.
2. The service
OnePassApps provides web apps and related account, support, and billing features. Features may change, depend on third-party services, or be withdrawn for product, security, legal, provider, or capacity reasons. We will give reasonable notice of a material adverse change to a paid service where required. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, so keep copies of important work.
The live catalogue is listed on the home page and in All apps. Apps shown as coming soon do not accept new work until explicitly enabled. Pro members can submit app ideas for review and community voting; ideas, votes and submissions do not commit us to build or release any app.
This is an online software service, delivered through your browser rather than by physical shipment. Hosted features require an internet connection and may require a signed-in account. Paid access is enabled after payment confirmation; if it does not appear, contact [email protected] with your receipt reference. Do not send payment-card details. Browser-local tools process files on your device unless the feature tells you otherwise. Save or export local work before clearing browser data.
3. Acceptable use
Use OnePassApps lawfully and respect other people, services, and rights. You must not:
submit or use content without the necessary rights, authority, notices, or consent;
infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights;
bypass authentication, paywalls, access controls, platform rules, rate limits, credits, or security measures;
probe, disrupt, overload, introduce malware, gain unauthorised access, or reverse engineer beyond mandatory legal rights;
use the service for fraud, impersonation, harassment, exploitation, unlawful harm, or illegal goods or services;
access or use the service, or buy a plan, where doing so would breach applicable sanctions or export-control laws, or on behalf of a person subject to those restrictions; or
send passwords, access tokens, payment-card data, or unnecessary sensitive information to app inputs or support.
We may reject content, cancel work, limit a feature, or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, rights holders, or the service.
4. Content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of content you provide. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, copy, and transmit it only as needed to provide, secure, and support the feature you requested. You are responsible for having the rights and consents needed for your content and intended use.
OnePassApps, its software, design, and branding belong to us or our licensors. Third-party content, links, data, names, and marks belong to their owners and do not imply endorsement. Automated or generated results can be wrong; check important output before relying on or publishing it. OnePassApps does not provide legal, financial, medical, safety, or other professional advice.
To report a copyright or other content-rights concern, contact [email protected]. Include the original work, the relevant OnePassApps URL or item, an explanation of the rights concerned, your authority to report, a contact address for our reply, your name (a typed name is fine as a signature), and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, that the report is accurate, and that you own the rights or may act for the owner. We review reports and may restrict or remove affected material. If your material is restricted after a report, we will tell you where we can; reply to the same contact explaining why it should be restored (for example ownership, permission, licence or mistake), and we review replies before restoring anything. Attribution or a public link does not grant permission to reuse someone else's content.
NewsFlow source permissions
NewsFlow includes arXiv research feeds. We use titles, authors and abstracts under CC0, as described in arXiv's API terms. Full papers, figures and other publisher content are not included in this permission. We link to the original abstract page; arXiv does not endorse OnePassApps.
Source-based briefs summarise permitted news text and research abstracts using MiniMax. Selected feeds provide article text; other sources provide excerpts or abstracts. Briefs cover only the supplied text. Spoken versions use a synthetic voice. Briefs can omit context or contain errors; check the original work before relying on a result. The CC0 source metadata remains available under its own terms; these terms do not restrict rights granted by that dedication.
Only reviewed sources are processed. Sources without a suitable implemented permission route, including social posts, podcasts, videos and unreviewed custom feeds, are currently excluded. Existing custom-feed preferences can be removed, but do not authorise processing. Available coverage may change as source permissions change.
Global Voices original feed article text is available under CC BY 3.0. Our source-based briefs summarise that text and add synthetic speech; we credit the author and link to the original and licence. This permission does not cover third-party photographs, video or audio. Global Voices does not endorse our adaptations. The source text and any copyrightable adaptations remain available under CC BY 3.0; our general restrictions on OnePassApps software do not restrict those licensed rights.
Reviewed EFF and PLOS original feed article text, and Universe Today feed excerpts, are available under CC BY 4.0; reviewed SciDev.Net excerpts use CC BY 3.0. Each story's Sources & credits identifies its author or institution, original work, licence and changes for source-based summaries and synthetic narration. These grants cover the specified source text, not third-party media or logos, and imply no endorsement. The source text and any copyrightable adaptations remain available under their identified licence; our software restrictions do not restrict those licensed rights.
Government agency feeds have been retired from the active catalogue. For historical records, reviewed NIST feed text used its public-information reuse policy. Reviewed U.S. National Science Foundation and Bureau of Economic Analysis feed text uses the agencies' digital policy and reuse notice for public-domain agency information except where other rights are stated. We retain institutional credit and original links, identify summaries and narration as adaptations, and exclude separately copyrighted material and media. Agency news is informational and implies no government affiliation or endorsement.
Historical GOV.UK news feed and Content API article text was reused and adapted into briefs and synthetic speech under the Open Government Licence v3.0, except where otherwise stated, with source credit and original links. Our presentation does not imply government endorsement. The licence excludes logos, third-party rights and personal information.
Historical Federal Reserve Board press-release text was reused and adapted with Board credit under its public-domain notice, except material identified as belonging to others. These briefs and speech are informational, not investment advice, and imply no affiliation or endorsement. TechCrunch feed entries are optional original-reading items with source links; they are excluded from AI summaries and speech. NASA sources are retired. We do not use agency logos, photographs or other media. The normal inbox shows the latest 24 hours. A public feed is not itself a licence for every use.
NewsFlow sends permitted public source titles, article text, excerpts and briefs to MiniMax for summaries, topic labels and speech. It does not include your account identity, reading history, queue, Sam conversations or private movie reviews in those requests. Public source text can itself name people. Prepared audio is stored privately and retrieved through NewsFlow's access controls.
Listening uses free local Kokoro synthetic English speech by default. MiniMax still prepares source-based summaries; operators may explicitly select MiniMax speech instead. There is no automatic provider switch. Local speech model credits and software licences apply to local narration.
Movie catalogue sources
Selected titles also show dated IMDb user ratings, Rotten Tomatoes critic scores or Metascores reported in Wikidata. Each is labelled as reported and links to its score date, Wikidata statement, source revision and CC0 structured-data dedication. These are historical reports with limited coverage, not official live feeds or an endorsement by those services. Rotten Tomatoes positive-review percentages and average critic ratings are kept separate. Community-score sorting and filters continue to use the identified community source. Source credits do not grant rights in third-party brands or databases.
Movie and television facts come from Wikidata structured data under CC0. Wikipedia introductions use CC BY-SA 4.0; each title credits its contributors and links to the article, author history, source revision and licence. Selected omdb.org abstracts use CC BY 2.0 Germany, with contributor, entry and history links. Formatting and paragraph selection may be simplified. Descriptions and any copyrightable adaptations remain available under their identified licences, including ShareAlike where applicable; our software restrictions do not restrict those licensed rights. Credits appear with each description, and the bundled Wikipedia selection is available separately.
Artwork uses reviewed licensed images and provider-authorised trailer previews or TV artwork where available, with original AI-generated genre scenery for remaining titles. Recommendations compare catalogue facts with your private preferences; we do not stream films. Catalogue coverage, images and descriptions vary by title. Names and source links do not imply endorsement by film owners, Wikipedia or Wikimedia.
Selected open-film posters and cast/event photographs are available under their individual CC BY or CC BY-SA licences. Sources & credits identifies the creator, original source, licence evidence, licence version and any changes for each image. A cast/event photograph is not a film poster or still. You can download the image credits and the locally displayed image from its credits. Images and any copyrightable adaptations remain available under their stated licences, including ShareAlike where applicable; our restrictions on OnePassApps software do not restrict these licensed rights. These grants do not license other film imagery or imply endorsement by the creators, cast or studios.
Selected movie trailer previews are supplied through the KinoCheck API under its promotional-content permission. Watch trailer opens the official video on YouTube, with a KinoCheck source link; German trailers are labelled. Preview frames are not film posters and are not offered under a Creative Commons licence. Selected television artwork, summaries and scores come from TVmaze: metadata uses CC BY-SA 4.0, while network artwork remains its owner's copyright under TVmaze's published use permission. Sources & credits keeps these permissions separate from individually licensed open images. Provider credits and permission links identify each matched title.
Community scores and selected ordered cast credits come from omdb.org contributors under CC BY 2.0 Germany. Each matched title links to its original entry and version history in Sources & credits. Cast names follow the source's acting-credit order where available. Averages are rounded for display; vote counts and snapshot dates identify their scope. These are omdb.org community votes, not IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes or Metacritic ratings. Missing or ambiguous matches are left unrated. The bundled rating selection is available separately; these terms do not restrict the licensed rights in that data.
5. Plans, payments, cancellation, and refunds
Free promotional period: Standard is included for every account, with 100,000 credits every 30 days and no payment details required. No end date has been set. New plan purchases are disabled, and participating will not automatically create a paid subscription or charge. The normal paid plans and terms below remain for reference and existing purchases. Existing paid subscriptions keep their own billing terms; manage or cancel them using the controls described below.
Plans show prices in US dollars (USD). Applicable tax and the final total are shown at checkout before you pay. Monthly plans charge for one month at a time; annual plans charge the full annual amount in advance. Both automatically renew for the same billing period until cancelled. The chosen plan, total, billing interval, and terms must be available for you to review before confirming payment.
How to buy: sign in, open Plans, choose a plan and billing period, review the summary, tick both confirmations, then choose Continue to secure checkout and pay on Lemon Squeezy's checkout page. Until you pay, you can go back and change your choice, and you can check and correct your details on the checkout page. Payment confirmation and your receipt come from Lemon Squeezy. We keep a record of the terms version and subscription terms you accepted; contact [email protected] for a copy. These terms are always available on this page, which you can print or save. The contract is concluded in English.
Changing plan: to change plan or billing interval, sign in, open Plans and use the billing portal. Review the effective date, renewal amount and any proration shown there before confirming; the payment provider's confirmation is authoritative. Changing plan does not start a second subscription.
To stop renewal, sign in, open Plans, and choose Cancel membership in your membership status; cancellation is confirmed on screen and future charges stop. You can also choose Cancel plan on your current plan to cancel in the secure Lemon Squeezy billing portal. Cancel before the next renewal and keep the confirmation. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period. If you cannot sign in or use either route, contact [email protected] to request cancellation. Cancellation of future charges and a refund of a past charge are separate requests; you do not need to delete your account to cancel.
Credits measure usage of OnePassApps hosted features. Included allowances refresh every 30 days, including on annual plans; unused included credits do not roll over. Credits cannot be transferred, sold, withdrawn as money, or spent with another business. They have no cash value. There are no automatic overage charges, and we do not sell credit packs or top-ups. Browser-local tools, settings, exports, and retrieval of saved results do not spend credits. The available allowance and feature limits still apply.
Membership refunds: our voluntary refund policy covers a paid membership charge when you request a refund within 7 days of that charge and have used no more than 5,000 credits since it. Contact [email protected] with the account email and receipt reference. We check the charge and usage before processing; an amount already refunded cannot be refunded twice. A full refund of your latest membership charge ends paid access. Requests outside these limits can still be reviewed for billing errors, service problems, or legal rights. A refund is complete only when confirmed by the payment provider.
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for payments it processes and applies its own checkout, tax, receipt, fraud, and buyer terms. It may refund a payment under its own policies even outside our voluntary policy. Keep the checkout confirmation and receipt. Paid plans can be bought only where Lemon Squeezy can lawfully sell them; its checkout may decline a purchase from a restricted location. Nothing here removes a statutory cancellation, refund, quality, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Charges and payment disputes: because Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record, your card or bank statement shows the charge under Lemon Squeezy's name (it begins LEMSQZY*), not OnePassApps alone. If you do not recognise a charge or think it is wrong, contact [email protected] with the account email and receipt reference first, so we can check it and cancel or refund where appropriate. Lemon Squeezy's explanation of LEMSQZY charges can help identify a purchase. Card-issuer disputes and chargebacks are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its buyer terms. This does not limit any right you have with your card issuer.
Statutory cancellation: where a cooling-off right applies, including qualifying UK distance contracts, you normally have 14 days from entering the contract to cancel without giving a reason. Our voluntary refund limits do not restrict that right. Paid access starts when payment is confirmed, but we do not ask you to request early supply or to give up this right: if you cancel within this period, the membership charge is refunded in full, with no deduction for access or credits used, no later than 14 days after we receive your cancellation. For digital content, loss of the cancellation right requires your prior express consent, acknowledgment of that loss, and the required contract confirmation. Simply using the app or accepting these terms is not that separate consent. Contact [email protected] with a clear statement before the deadline to exercise an applicable right.

6. Privacy and browser storage
OnePassApps is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact [email protected].
What we use: account and session details, app activity and content you choose to process, billing and entitlement references, support messages, limited security and reliability records, and anonymous page-event counts. We do not receive full payment-card details.
Live apps: NewsFlow uses source choices, public-source metadata, brief and audio requests, reading state, and queues. The live movie tracking app uses watchlists, diary entries, ratings, private reviews, tags, reactions, recommendations, and taste signals. Tools and Studios run on your device: files and entries you open there are not uploaded to OnePassApps or saved between visits unless the feature tells you otherwise.
Apps that are not currently live: disabled apps accept no new work, but data created while they were available may remain in the browser or account. This can include local-first notes, planning records, owner-scoped transcript documents, source URLs, public video metadata, and bounded audio, download-job, provider-consent, or rights-attestation records until you delete it in an app that offers deletion, ask us to delete it by contacting [email protected], delete the account, or its documented retention period expires. Disabling an app does not by itself delete existing data.
Purposes and legal bases: we use account details, requested app content, entitlement records, and customer support information to provide the service under our contract with you or take steps you request before it. Our legitimate interests are protecting accounts, preventing abuse, investigating faults, responding to enquiries, and counting anonymous page events, such as a home-page view or a click on Plans, to understand how visitors find the apps. We keep records needed to meet applicable legal obligations. Where a use requires consent, we request it separately and you can withdraw it. We do not run optional browser diagnostics.
Who receives it: providers needed for authentication, hosting, storage, payments, requested processing, support, security, and server error monitoring, including Clerk and Lemon Squeezy plus live public-source, movie-metadata, analysis, or speech providers. Disabled transcript or media products submit no new work, although their providers may still process deletion requests or information under applicable retention duties. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Sam and requested processing: Sam interprets supported app commands and provides built-in guidance in your browser. Signed-in users can enable AI replies, which starts off and resets when your account changes. When enabled, up to 12 conversation messages are sent to MiniMax for conversational replies and use credits. Files, account details and app context are not added automatically; personal information you type into a message will be sent with it. Conversation state is held in browser-session memory and cleared when your account session changes. We retain encrypted replies briefly to let the same operation be retried without duplicate charges; provider retention follows the applicable MiniMax account terms. An app action can still contact our service and use your account to complete the action. NewsFlow separately prepares briefs and speech from permitted public article text, excerpts and research abstracts. Movie ratings and reactions can request a shared MiniMax analysis of that film's verified public facts and licensed introductory description. Private ratings, reviews, watchlists, account identity and Sam conversations are not included in the movie analysis request; matching those public features to your preferences happens within our service. Account ownership checks and confirmation of destructive actions remain separate controls.
Movie images and trailer links: provider images load directly from KinoCheck or TVmaze image servers, which receive the network information needed to deliver them, such as your IP address. Opening a source or trailer link visits that provider or YouTube under its own privacy policy. Trailers are not loaded automatically and these requests do not contain your OnePass account details, private reviews or watchlist.
Tracking and browser signals: we do not track your activity across other websites, and we do not use advertising, retargeting or cross-site analytics services. Sign-in and bot-protection providers (Clerk and Cloudflare) receive the device and network information needed for security under their own privacy terms. Our own anonymous count of public page and button use uses no cookies, browser storage or account identifiers, and is not sent when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
Transfers: some providers process information outside the UK and the European Economic Area, including in the United States (for example our managed database, account sign-in and merchant checkout). Where UK or EU law requires it, we rely on adequacy regulations, recognised contractual safeguards or another mechanism the law allows for each transfer. Contact [email protected] for the safeguard used for a particular provider or a copy of it.
Retention: account and owner-scoped app records, including records from apps that are no longer live, remain until you remove them in the app, ask us to delete them by contacting [email protected], delete the account, or a documented product-specific period expires. Local browser data remains until you delete it or clear site storage. Temporary processing data follows the shorter period shown in the feature. Membership consent and billing-notice evidence is kept for the membership duration and at least three years from acceptance or one year after termination, whichever is later. Account deletion removes the account link but retains a limited pseudonymous reference, agreed terms, timestamps and delivery status for that period. Billing, tax, fraud, security, dispute, and other legal records may be kept longer where reasonably necessary or required by law.
Support requests: messages and contact emails are stored in our support system, including guest requests. Guest tracking access is stored in the browser; clearing site data removes that access, not the request. Active guest requests are normally removed after 180 days without a customer or public support interaction. Resolved requests are normally removed after 365 days and closed requests after 180 days. Open signed-in requests remain until completed or the account is deleted, subject to narrow legal retention needs.
Your choices: you can use available guest and local tools without an account. Account details are needed for signed-in features, and content needed for a requested hosted action must be supplied for that action to work. Automated recommendations and usage controls support the app; they do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.
Necessary storage supports sign-in, security, preferences, local work, and requested features. Clearing site data can sign you out and permanently remove local-only work.
7. Privacy rights and account deletion
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and withdraw consent. Contact [email protected] and identify the account concerned. We may verify your identity and retain narrow records where law, fraud prevention, security, billing, disputes, or another person's rights require it.
Right to object: you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests by contacting [email protected] and explaining your circumstances. We will stop that processing unless we have overriding compelling legitimate grounds or need it for legal claims.
Delete eligible account data through the signed-in account controls. If you cannot sign in, contact [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account.” The deletion process attempts to cancel an existing recurring membership before removing account records; it does not request a refund. You can cancel in Plans or through the billing portal separately, and should contact support first if a refund is needed. Deletion is not complete until confirmed. Deleting OnePassApps does not automatically delete an account held by an independent provider. Local browser data on other devices and copies you downloaded may need to be cleared separately.
Deletion removes data from the active account. Restricted backup copies can remain until the configured backup retention period expires; deletion controls must also be reapplied if a backup is restored. Contact us for the current backup period and the status of a deletion request.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the relevant regulator where you live.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, deliberate wrongdoing, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care, but not business losses or loss caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. For business use, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected service in the 12 months before the event, except where that limit would be unlawful.
9. Suspension, termination, and changes
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breach, non-payment, security risk, legal requirement, provider restriction, or a discontinued service. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to export eligible data. Terms that logically continue after termination remain in effect.
We may update these terms for product, provider, legal, or security changes. We will change the effective date and bring material changes to your attention where required. Changes do not remove rights that already accrued.
10. Law and contact
OnePassApps service operator: OnePassApps. Customer support, billing enquiries, complaints, and privacy requests: [email protected].
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers keep any mandatory protections and court rights where they live. Contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve a concern.
