How to make an invoice or quote and save it as a PDF
Invoice Maker builds an invoice or quote from the details you type. Enter both parties and the line items, choose the document settings and check the paper preview before printing or saving a PDF. Details stay in this tab and nothing is uploaded or saved unless you download or print. No account is needed.

Invoice Maker
Create invoices and quotes, check the totals, and print or save them as PDF.
What you can do
- Write an invoice or a quote with line items, each with its own tax rate, and tax totals grouped by rate.
- Apply a percentage or fixed discount, and choose A4 or US Letter, currency, number, dates and payment terms.
- Print or save as PDF through the browser, and export a draft as JSON to restore later.
How to use this app
- 01Enter your details and the client's, then add each line with quantity, unit price and tax rate. Prices are entered without tax.
- 02Choose Invoice or Quote, paper size, currency, number, dates and any discount, then check the lines, tax per rate and total in the preview.
- 03Choose Print / save PDF and pick Save as PDF in the print dialog. Export draft JSON if you want to continue later.
Limits and privacy
- A document holds up to 100 lines. Imported drafts must be UTF-8 JSON exported by Invoice Maker, up to 1 MiB, and page breaks are chosen by the browser.
- You set every tax rate. It gives no tax or legal advice, and it has no e-invoicing formats, payment tracking, sending or stored clients. Reloading discards the invoice unless you exported a draft.
Common questions
How is tax calculated?
Each line is rounded half-up to the currency's smallest unit, any discount is shared across rates, and tax is worked out once per rate and rounded half-up.
Can I get a PDF file directly?
It uses your browser's print dialog. Choose Save as PDF there.
Is Invoice Maker free, and do I need an account?
Yes, it is free. Invoice Maker runs in your browser with no account or payment details, and it never uses OnePassApps credits.
