How to record your screen in the browser
Screen Recorder captures a screen, window or browser tab using your browser's own screen-sharing picker. Add system or tab audio and a microphone if you wish, then stop, preview the clip and download it. The recording is held in this tab's memory and is never uploaded. It needs a desktop browser with screen capture and no account.

Screen Recorder
Record your screen, a window or a tab in the browser and download the video.
What you can do
- Record a whole screen, a window or a browser tab using the browser's own picker, with an optional 3-second countdown.
- Include system or tab audio where offered and an optional microphone, then pause, resume and stop with elapsed time and size shown.
- Preview the clip and download MP4 (H.264) where supported or WebM (VP9 or VP8 with Opus).
How to use this app
- 01Choose your options, including the microphone and the countdown, then start recording and pick a screen, window or tab in the browser's picker.
- 02Pause, resume or stop while the elapsed time and size are shown. System audio depends on your browser and the source you choose.
- 03Preview the clip, choose a format (MP4 where supported, otherwise WebM) and download it before you close the tab.
Limits and privacy
- A desktop browser with screen capture is needed; most phones lack it. The recorder warns above 1 GB and stops at 2 GB or 2 hours.
- The recording lives in tab memory and is lost if the tab closes before you download it. There is no editing, trimming or conversion.
